I’ve upgraded WordPress (the software that runs the blog) to the latest version. Hopefully nothing broke…
I’ve upgrade the version of WordPress (the software that runs the blog) to version 2.5.1 – this is a fairly major upgrade so it may have broken stuff. An initial check seems to show that it is (mostly at least) working ok.
Retitling exercise undertaken…
I happened to notice that Rachel’s last post appeared to have been at a little past midnight, which was odd because I know that Rachel woke early this morning, but she hadn’t mentioned any midnight blogging. Turns out that the webserver this site runs on doesn’t know the time, so I’m having to lie to it and say that we’re based somewhere in the Urals so that the posts get the a more reasonable time….
You probably didn’t need to know this, but I needed to make a test post to see if I’ve fixed it
I’ve upgraded WordPress (the software that runs this blog) – seems to still work ok, but any problems with it, let me know.
I’ve upgraded the version of WordPress (the software that runs the blog) to the newest and latest version. Everything seems to be ok, but if not then that’ll be why.
I’ve upgraded the version of WordPress that runs this site. Hopefully nothing broken in the process. I’ve also installed a plugin that helps reinstate the pages that got transmuted into posts some upgrades ago. I think there is still another one to find somewhere in there…
A short admin note – I’ve turned off pinging and trackback on all the posts after we got hit with 21 ping spams today. I don’t suppose anyone will notice….
Mike’s [recent modification](http://higton.goringe.net/?p=384) to show the contents of Bridget’s Blog from 2 years ago got me looking at the plugin he was using. A little bit of hacking later and we’re now showing 1,2 and 3 month rolling histories. Actually I’ve changed the plugin a bit to allow a friendlier specification of the time for the historical ‘window’ and some other bits. This has kind of morphed into a new plugin which I’ve imaginatively entitled ‘Waybackthen’ – code is available on my (new) [code page](http://www.crojack.org/code).
